That aint no peace-loving dove.
What fiery wings call the day
with a bill that none wants to pay
Can't run, it knows the truth
in its eyes there's not much to do
eyes closed and hiding away
might keep them monsters at bay

keep shifting, and drifting
moving on aimlessly,
for someday you'll find the key
that opens the door to
eternity

Hell being what do you say?
one's soul is a big price to pay.
Just trash that forbidden fruit
from the vampires dressed up in suits
don't run they know the truth
in their eyes there's not much to do
eyes closed and hiding away
